Keep the wedding dress after the wedding is an art that you learn. And the first storage method comes from its technical museum.
How to store your wedding dress? For most women just married is an important priority after marriage. On one side it is the dress for excellence and has sentimental value important because it symbolizes the best day of their lives, and secondly because some of them are hoping to be able to pay when their grandson in turn will marry. However, a wedding dress should be stored in the right way. The metal boxes, envelopes and cardboard boxes are likely to ruin it, as also the light, dust and heat.

But for optimum conservation gown more important in our lives there are a few golden rules to follow:
– Do not bend it too many times because the fiber would risk breaking down and, in the long run, the dress will tear.
– Protect the habit and avoid subjecting it to light. The white tissue, in fact, may turn yellow or if it is a colorful dress, may become discolored.
– Avoid moisture. Basements, garages and temperature changes are responsible for the mildew and weaken the fibers of the garment. The ideal is to keep it in a room of the house, which has an optimum temperature throughout the year.
– Avoid anything that is not specifically designed for the preservation of the wedding dress: bags of fabric or plastic, metal or wooden hangers and bags under vacuum in direct contact with the fabric, would only aggravate the deterioration of the dress. Moreover, usually they contain chemicals that interact with the fabric.
– Avoid dust and dirt that attract mites using imperatively a mite infestation (preferably organic) that should never come in direct contact with the clothes.
– Wash the dress after the wedding. Ideally, it should take it to the cleaners in the fifteen days following the wedding. It is advisable to take care of new brides before their honeymoon and always specify the origin of the stains so that treatment is more effective, then remembering to put the accessories in special boxes (shoes, veil etc …) once washed to avoid mites.
Attention, finally, to grandma’s remedies, which are not always reliable: blue tissue paper, for example, which should prevent the dress turning yellow over time, will only blue dye her pure white. Tissue paper neutral, instead, used without brighteners and acid-free, is used to effectively protect tissues.
